We are looking for a new colleague for the
Accountant (w/m/d) position
.What you can expect:- DATEV Accounting: Independently manage and accurately maintain bookkeeping using DATEV, including posting all business transactions.
- Invoicing: Responsible for the timely and correct preparation of outgoing invoices.
- Dunning Process: Independently manage the dunning process, monitor outstanding receivables, prepare and send reminders, and prepare cases for debt collection.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile and maintain accounts receivable and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reporting: Prepare reports on outstanding receivables and debts for management.
- Customer Communication: Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to invoices and dunning.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to improving and increasing the efficiency of invoicing and dunning processes.
- Recording invoice entries in DATEV, initially capturing VAT, with subsequent tax verification by our advisors.
- Updating bank transactions daily in DATEV.
- Processing journal entries for month-end closing activities.
Ihr Profil
What we are looking for:- Successfully completed a vocational training as a tax clerk or a comparable commercial education, ideally with further training as a certified accountant or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience as an accountant, especially with DATEV, and a solid knowledge of the dunning process.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the German commercial and tax law (HGB).
- It goes without saying that DATEV has no secret for you.
- MS Office applications are your day-to-day companions, so well versed in its use. Most especially Excel.
- You have a very good command of German (at least C1), with English skills being advantageous.
- Strong numerical aptitude, independent, accurate, assertive, structured, goal- and solution-oriented work approach and ready to bring your own ideas to the company.
- Organizational skills, commitment, resilience, and flexibility.
We are really just looking for that 1 person that will im-perfectly fit our small Finance Team in Germany and that is a team player, motivated, a go getter, flexible, and on the lookout for something new.
Warum wir?
What you will be a part of:emovis is since 2001 a dedicated study site right in the center of Berlin, conducting out-patient clinical studies to assess the efficacy and side effects of new medications. If the patient cannot go to the study site, we bring the study site to the patient with our Decentralized Clinical Team department. From our office in Berlin, we organize and coordinate homecare visits for patients in 16 European countries.
Since August 2023, emovis GmbH is now part of the FutureMeds Group and this role will revolve around the different FutureMeds location in Germany, which are Berlin and Offenbach so far.
